Senior Transport Planner

to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of our transport network.

What You'll Be Doing

Leading the planning and coordination of daily and long-term transport operations. Optimising route planning and vehicle utilisation to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries. Collaborating with drivers, warehouse teams, and external partners to maintain service excellence. Analysing transport data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Ensuring compliance with all transport legislation, health & safety, and environmental standards. Supporting the development of junior planners and contributing to strategic transport projects.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in transport planning or logistics coordination, ideally in a senior or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of transport regulations, routing software, and fleet management systems. Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Desirable

CPC qualification or working towards it. Experience with Vigo TMS desirable.
