Job Description

Wood are seeking a Senior Underground Designer on an initial 4 month contract to work on a technically complex middle eastern project based from our Reading office. The role will require you to be based in the office 4 days per week.

Execution and oversight of Civil Design requirements Experience of earthworks modelling including InRoads or Openroads Provision of quantification input as required Production of all associated project design deliverables Checking and review work undertaken by other execution offices and third party entities Support to the Lead Civil Engineer as required Effective coordination of all elements within the project Maintain effective dialogue with other Project Engineers, Delivery Team leader, Engineering manager

Degree in Engineering with experience in Refinery / Petrochemical / Chemical / Power / Plant Projects. Knowledge in 2D and 3D drafting Bentley Microstation V8i S3D Modelling experience Working knowledge of OpenRoads and/or Windes (Microdrainage) would be considered an advantage
