We are seeking a senior Mechanic/Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and demonstrate the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles and machinery. MINIMUM 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL

Duties

Conduct thorough and routine inspections of vehicles and machinery to identify issues and determine necessary repairs for optimal performance. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections. Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and tools. Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as required. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed, including parts used and time spent. Adhere to compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all work activities. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service quality and completion.

Experience

Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and hand tools relevant to mechanical repair. Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair techniques. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to mechanical work. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues. Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology or mechanical engineering are advantageous but not essential.
