We are a passionate, purpose-driven organisation committed to upskilling and supporting professionals working with vulnerable children and adults in care. Our mission is to equip care professionals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to deliver exceptional care, ultimately transforming lives.
As a member of our team, your work will have real impact, not only within our organisation but also for the vulnerable individuals who rely on compassionate, well-trained care professionals.
The Role
We are seeking a talented and efficient Video Editor to join our growing marketing team. This is a full-time, on-site role (with the option to work hybrid after probation).
You'll take the lead in editing both long-form and short-form videos, including YouTube content, Instagram Reels, TikToks, and LinkedIn clips, ensuring every video is engaging, polished, and aligned with our brand guidelines.
While your main focus will be video editing, you will also support video production and videography, helping our Content Creator with filming setup, lighting, sound, and camera operation when needed.
AI tools will play an important part of your workflow, from auto-captioning and smart editing to speeding up repurposing tasks. This role is a key enabler for our strategy, ensuring content is delivered at scale and freeing up internal capacity.
Key Responsibilities
Edit 2x long-form YouTube videos per week plus 8-10 short-form clips (Reels, Shorts, TikToks, LinkedIn).
Add on-brand captions, subtitles, and overlays to improve accessibility and engagement.
Incorporate logos, intros/outros, and light motion graphics for consistency across all platforms.
Repurpose long-form content into short, engaging clips optimised for each channel.
Use AI tools for captioning, smart cutting, and workflow automation to improve speed and efficiency.
Support video production, including filming setup, lighting, and camera operation during shoots.
Assist the Content Creator with on-site or studio recording sessions to ensure high-quality footage.
Collaborate with the Content Creator Lead and Marketing Team to ensure content fits the wider strategy.
Manage files, assets, and editing timelines to deliver projects on time, every time.

Experience adding captions, branding, and motion graphics.
Comfortable using AI-powered editing and captioning tools.
Experience in video production and on-set videography (camera operation, framing, lighting, and audio setup).
Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines.
Adaptable to platform algorithm updates and able to edit content that performs well against current best practices.
Awareness of emerging trends in social video formats and ability to apply them creatively.

Experience in creating content for education, training, or care sectors.
