We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic senior waiter/waitress to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Part time hours available. Must be available weekends/bank holidays.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring attention to detail. Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to food safety guidelines. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations. Handle guest enquiries and concerns with professionalism to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Manage time effectively to provide efficient service during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of hospitality principles. (minimum 2 years). Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is essential. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a positive dining atmosphere. Experience in upselling menu items is advantageous.
