We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Senior Waste Management PhD to join our innovative environmental solutions team. In this pivotal role, you will apply advanced scientific expertise to design, implement, and optimize waste management strategies that support our mission of sustainability and regulatory compliance. You will lead multidisciplinary research projects, analyze complex data, and develop evidence-based recommendations for the effective treatment, recycling, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Collaboration with government agencies, industry partners, and internal stakeholders will be central to your work, as you provide technical guidance and ensure best practices are consistently applied.
Key responsibilities include conducting original research in emerging waste processing technologies, publishing findings in peer-reviewed journals, and presenting at national and international conferences. You will oversee the development of standard operating procedures, perform risk assessments, and contribute to the creation and review of waste management policies. Mentorship of junior scientists and participation in educational outreach initiatives are integral aspects of the role. Candidates must possess a PhD in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Waste Management, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in waste management research or consulting. Demonstrated expertise in waste characterization, life cycle assessment, and regulatory frameworks such as RCRA and ISO 14001 is required. Strong project management, communication, and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.
