The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, including TIG and Stick welding. As a Senior Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds and ensuring that all projects meet the required specifications and standards.

Responsibilities

Execute precise welding tasks using TIG and Stick welding techniques. Fabricate components from sheet metal and other materials according to engineering drawings. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete assembly tasks. Perform inspections of completed welds to ensure quality and adherence to specifications. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the welding process. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior welders, sharing best practices and techniques.

Experience

Proven experience in welding, with proficiency in TIG welding, Stick welding, and fabrication processes. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics. Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, and various welding equipment. Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks. Experience in assembly work is advantageous, contributing to overall project efficiency.
