Description
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Senior or Assistant Manager to join our growing Corporate Tax team in Manchester. In this client-facing role, you'll lead the delivery of corporate tax compliance and advisory services for a varied portfolio, helping businesses navigate complex tax challenges while mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to our exceptional service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the delivery of day-to-day corporate tax compliance and advisory services for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Reviewing corporation tax computations and returns, ensuring technical accuracy and submission in line with HMRC deadlines.
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members to develop their tax skills and ensure high-quality client deliverables.
- Providing clients with timely and relevant tax advice, including on matters such as group relief, capital allowances, and loss utilisation.
- Liaising with HMRC on client matters, managing enquiries and correspondence effectively.
- Identifying opportunities for tax planning and working closely with senior colleagues to develop solutions.
- Accurately recording chargeable time and ensuring optimal recovery of billable hours.
- Planning and managing your workload to meet client expectations and internal review schedules.
Key Requirements
- ACA/ACCA qualified (CTA desirable or working towards).
- Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax legislation and compliance processes.
- Proven experience in client management and advisory delivery.
