Sensor Assembly Technician

You will be joining our Sensor Assembly Technician team at our building in Exeter city centre.
Sensor assembly requires manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Ensuring that the agreed standards of productivity and quality are attained, in all aspects of the production process.
Manufacturing all products following manufacturing procedures and not deviating from the procedures.
Observe Health and Safety rules, which must be adhered to at all times, especially in the operation of machinery where safe working practices MUST BE OBSERVED and keep work area clean and tidy and free from potential hazards.
Notify Section Leader / Supervisor of any faulty or non-functioning machinery and equipment, and at the same time exercise care and attention when operating machinery.
Ensure that customer orders are met on a timely basis, ensuring that all goods meet the required quality standards.
To dispose of waste and scrap material according to the company's waste guidelines.
Observe the Company Quality and Environmental standards, procedures and guidelines in all areas of production activity, together with monitoring quality and consistency of output on an on-going basis.
Previous production and assembly experience would be ideal but no essential as full training will be given.
Experience of working within an ISO framework is ideal but not essential.
The job is full-time, 37.5 hours per week. The position is a temporary 4-month contract, with the possibility of an extension.
