I am the owner of a well-established, three-year-old ethical beauty blog. I am seeking a skilled and strategic SEO Content Writer to take over the writing and help steer the blog's new, focused direction.

With limited time, my strategy is shifting to quality over quantity. The core of this role will be to research, write, and optimise just

four high-impact, seasonal pillar posts per year

. Your work will be crucial in maintaining our growth and authority through exceptional, search-optimised content.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Conducting in-depth keyword and competitor research to identify high-opportunity topics. Writing and structuring compelling, authoritative long-form content (2,000+ words) that serves as the ultimate resource on a topic. Fully optimising each piece for on-page SEO (meta tags, headers, internal linking, etc.). Ensuring all content aligns with the blog's established voice and ethical values.

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and strategic thinker, not just a writer. You should have:

A proven track record of creating SEO content that ranks on the first page of Google. Experience with SEO tools like Ahrefs or Semrush. Excellent writing and research skills, with an ability to adapt to a specific tone and audience. An understanding of the beauty, wellness, or sustainability niches (a strong plus). A professional and reliable approach to remote work.
