Join Our Digital Marketing Agency in a Leadership Role
We're a results-driven digital marketing agency based in the vibrant coastal town of Bournemouth, UK, with a sister company in Dubai. We serve a wide range of businesses looking to grow their online visibility, increase organic traffic, and dominate the search rankings.
We're looking for an experienced SEO Manager to lead our SEO team (8-10 people), work closely with our clients, and take ownership of our SEO strategy, execution, and internal systems. You'll be joining a tight-knit, passionate team in our modern Bournemouth office, collaborating daily with our Operations Director, Web Developers, Sales, and Customer Experience Manager to deliver best-in-class SEO services.

What You'll Be Doing
Leadership & Strategy - Lead and mentor SEO teams across our international offices, ensuring consistent strategy, quality, and results.
Audit and overhaul existing SEO systems, workflows, and reporting structures--introduce scalable and efficient processes.
Set clear KPIs for individuals and teams and ensure consistent performance tracking.
SEO Strategy & Execution
Design and implement comprehensive SEO strategies (technical, on-page, off-page) tailored to SME clients in a variety of industries.
Conduct advanced website audits, competitor analyses, and keyword research using the latest tools and methodologies.
Develop content strategies in collaboration with content creators and ensure on-page optimisation best practices are applied.
Technical SEO
Define requirements, write clear briefs or tickets, prioritise work, and perform QA after deployment. Development and configuration changes are handled by our web team or partners.
Crawling and indexing: scope changes for robots.txt, canonicals, noindex rules, and XML sitemaps, then QA.
Site architecture and internal linking: propose structures and internal linking models, brief developers or content teams, then QA.
Page speed and Core Web Vitals: identify LCP, CLS, and INP opportunities, coordinate image optimisation, caching and code changes with developers or hosting, then validate results.
Structured data: specify schema in JSON LD for Product, FAQ, LocalBusiness and others, brief implementation, then test in Rich Results tools.
Mobile SEO: confirm responsive and mobile first indexing readiness, raise issues with designers and developers, then QA.
JavaScript SEO: flag rendering issues, agree SSR or hydration approaches with developers, and verify with server side or prerender tests.
Duplicate content: define canonicalisation or pruning approach, brief changes to templates and content, then verify.
Redirects and URL structure: plan URL frameworks, specify 301 and 302 rules, prevent chains, and validate after release.
Log file analysis: review crawl patterns, identify waste and gaps, and turn findings into developer or content tickets.
Migrations: lead SEO planning and QA for launches and redesigns, own the checklist, testing, and post launch monitoring.
Continuing Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) research and development to develop this into a strong branch of the service.
Use tools such as SE Ranking, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, GA4, Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, Lighthouse, WebPageTest to diagnose and resolve issues.
Client-Facing & Communication
Serve as the main SEO point of contact for UK clients--present strategies, progress reports, and performance insights in a confident and clear manner.
Translate complex SEO concepts into language that resonates with business owners and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience
Minimum 5 years of hands-on SEO experience, including technical SEO and team leadership & working on multiple projects simultaneously
Proven record of delivering SEO success across businesses of various sizes and industries.
Experience managing and developing international or remote SEO teams.
Experience working with developers and designers to implement technical SEO recommendations.
Education & Certifications
SEO certifications from recognised platforms such as Google, HubSpot, Moz, SEMrush, or Yoast.
A degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field is desirable.
Strong knowledge of Google algorithm updates, how they affect performance, and how to respond strategically.
