Billion Media is a digital marketing company based in Liverpool. We specialise in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and have an interest in the legal sector.

We're seeking a talented and ambitious

SEO Outreach Specialist

to join our team.

The Job

Around 80% of your time will be devoted to link building and outreach. During the remaining time you will be given a small number of websites to manage.

As an SEO Outreach Specialist, your day-to-day duties will involve:

Building high quality backlinks to our network of websites Negotiating with third parties to secure the best deals possible Drafting content to place on third party websites Helping with the SEO management of our network of websites Conducting in-depth competitor analysis Conducting keyword research Analysing live pages and conducting optimisation tasks Site audits and on and off page fixes Identifying backlink opportunities Providing support on SEO to colleagues Supporting the Head of SEO in any tasks that arise

Requirements

Knowledge of SEO

,

researching and using keywords, backlinking and experience in using SEO tools

is essential.

Past experience in link building, with proven results, is essential. Please provide examples of your past work as part of your application

Experience in using WordPress

is also essential.

Conducting research

also forms a big part of this role. Our articles cover technical subjects so experience in research and scrutinising data sources is therefore essential. We pride ourselves on our friendly, sociable and laid-back atmosphere, so

Attention to detail is a big part of this role

. You will be expected to update sometimes complex and technical articles which require a sharp editorial eye.

You will be responsible for your workload and will be assigned targets and deadlines to meet.

The Benefits

The starting salary is up to 31,000 depending on experience.

You'll be entitled to 28 days of annual leave per year, including bank holidays. This increases with each year of service.

We also offer flexitime and some working from home entitlements upon completion of your probation, though this role is predominantly office-based.

Our office is located in Liverpool Innovation Park, which has great transport links, its own cafe, a gym, and is just a few minutes' walk from the new Liverpool Shopping Park, though we intend to move to the City Centre in the coming months.
