We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our team in a vibrant restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent guest service skills and a passion for the culinary arts. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests while ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Your role will involve taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting in the overall operation of the restaurant.
Duties
Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
Take accurate food and drink orders using basic maths skills to process transactions efficiently.
Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that all dishes meet our quality standards.
Assist with food preparation in the kitchen when necessary, adhering to food safety regulations.
Upsell menu items to enhance guests' dining experience and increase sales.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns promptly.
Provide assistance to guests as needed, ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services and satisfaction.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A positive attitude and willingness to help both guests and team members alike.
