Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take accurate food and beverage orders while suggesting menu items to enhance the dining experience through upselling. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our high standards. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest inquiries effectively. Adhere to food safety guidelines and ensure cleanliness in the dining area. Manage tables efficiently, ensuring timely service while attending to guest needs throughout their visit. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions. Handle payments accurately using basic math skills for cash transactions.

Experience

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in a serving role. A background in hospitality or culinary fields is advantageous. Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Excellent guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Experience in upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
