Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting with various tasks in the kitchen as needed.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as required, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, providing solutions where possible.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. A passion for culinary arts and willingness to help in the kitchen when needed. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour to engage with guests effectively. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 14.75-15.00 per hour
