As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages promptly.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Serve food and beverages efficiently, adhering to food safety standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to culinary standards. Perform basic math calculations for order totals and processing payments. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all guests are attended to promptly.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, particularly in a serving role. Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and guest services. Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices. Basic culinary skills or kitchen experience is an advantage. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while providing exceptional service. Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
