Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and promotions, while effectively upselling where appropriate. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards during food preparation and service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and communication. Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is essential. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments are required. Experience in culinary or kitchen roles is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining quality service. A passion for guest services with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
