Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to provide outstanding customer service while ensuring that all food and beverage orders are accurately taken and served. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and management to maintain a high standard of hospitality and efficiency within the restaurant.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus, providing detailed information about menu items and specials. Take food and drink orders accurately using basic maths skills to ensure correct billing. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that all orders meet the restaurant's quality standards. Assist in food preparation when necessary, adhering to food safety regulations and culinary best practices. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient communication regarding orders. Uphold high standards of guest services, contributing positively to the overall atmosphere of the restaurant.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent guest experiences. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Basic maths skills for accurate order taking and billing processes. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to interact effectively with guests and colleagues. Previous experience in a restaurant or similar environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for the role is key.
