Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring attention to detail. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the dining area. Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of each meal service.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of culinary terms and food safety practices. Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining professionalism. A genuine passion for hospitality and helping others enjoy their dining experience.
