Job Summary

1573 Bar & Grill is a polished, fast-paced restaurant and bar that takes pride in providing exceptional service, quality cuisine, and a curated beverage program. We are currently seeking professional and experienced individuals to fill a Server/Bartender role. This position requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering a consistently high level of hospitality.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide detailed menu knowledge Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently Deliver a seamless dining experience with attention to timing and guest needs Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards for the dining area Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to house standards Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and full stock at all times Managing multiple drink orders efficiently. Check IDs and serve alcohol responsibly, in compliance with local laws Assist with bar preparation, clean down, and barista responsibilities.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of food, wine, beer, and classic cocktails preferred. Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment Professional appearance and demeanor Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must be 18+ to serve alcohol where applicable Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays Previous experience in a bartending or hospitality role is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices. Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs. Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a busy setting. A passion for providing outstanding customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
