Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage offerings. Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring attention to dietary restrictions and preferences. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Assist with upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, responding promptly to requests or concerns. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Adhere to food safety guidelines and health regulations at all times. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest services. Basic culinary knowledge to effectively communicate menu items. Proficient in basic maths for handling transactions and tips. Experience in a restaurant environment is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented kitchen setting. Familiarity with food safety practices is essential. A proactive approach to helping guests with their needs or inquiries.
