Your role will be pivotal in creating a welcoming atmosphere and promoting our menu offerings through effective upselling techniques.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations based on guest preferences. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our high standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for billing purposes. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary procedures is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and requests. Ability to provide outstanding guest services with a friendly demeanour. Basic math skills for handling payments and processing bills accurately. Experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is beneficial but not essential. Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour
