The deli, open for breakfast and lunch, will feature a counter piled with pastries (like za'atar croissants and halva brownies), dips, breads, wraps and salads, and a bar serving coffees and Syrian mint tea. This room will also house a shop selling products, like jalapeno shatta, dates and chilli jam, from across the Med.
Job Summary:
As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, ensuring guests have a pleasant
dining experience. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, and assist guests
with any requests. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming and enjoyable
environment while maintaining professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and seat guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.
Engage with guests to ensure a positive dining experience and address any
concerns.
Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about ingredients,
dietary restrictions, and specials.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and serving
stations.
Assist in setting up and closing down the restaurant as required.
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Server or in a similar hospitality role is preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Friendly and positive attitude with a passion for hospitality.
