Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests enjoy a memorable dining experience through attentive service, effective communication, and an understanding of our menu offerings.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations and upselling menu items. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our high standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including setting and clearing tables. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Adhere to all food safety regulations and standards to ensure the health and safety of our guests. Handle cash transactions accurately, using basic math skills for processing payments. Assist in training new staff members as needed, sharing knowledge of restaurant operations and guest services.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong understanding of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders accurately. Experience in serving or kitchen roles is advantageous but not essential; we are willing to train the right candidate. A passion for food and beverage, with an eagerness to learn about menu items and pairings.
