Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Assist with upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to food safety guidelines, ensuring all health regulations are followed during service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service flow and timely delivery of orders.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently. Basic maths skills for processing bills and handling payments accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Familiarity with kitchen operations and culinary terminology is advantageous. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy restaurant environment while maintaining professionalism.
