We are seeking passionate, hard working, fun and friendly people to join our front of house team as a server on the bar and the floor. Get stuck in to delivering a great quality menu in one of Abersoch's most desirable locations - views that are simply breath taking.
The ideal candidate will possess some knowledge of working in a professional restaurant or bar environment, or display the desire to learn. You'll also be a great communicator and someone who enjoys working with others and is a natural collaborator. We want people people in all our roles, so someone who enjoys the company of others, is friendly and fun and wants to positively influence work place culture. You'll also need to be a team player, someone who will have their team mates backs and cares about both themselves, other team and our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Engage with guests, providing recommendations and upselling menu items to enhance their experience.
Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest needs or concerns.
Monitor inventory levels, assisting in ordering supplies as needed to maintain bar operations.
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines while working in a fast-paced environment.
Experience
Previous experience in a bartending or hospitality role is preferred but not essential; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous.
Strong time management skills are necessary to handle busy periods effectively.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide outstanding guest services in a friendly manner.
Basic culinary knowledge is beneficial for understanding menu offerings and pairings.
