We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our lively hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks efficiently, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and customer service to develop their skills in a dynamic environment. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and excellent time management abilities. The successful applicant will be organised, personable, and capable of working effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with health and safety regulations Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system efficiently Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during beverage preparation and service

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or a similar role within a restaurant or bar environment Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable manner Good organisational skills to manage multiple orders efficiently Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately Effective time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and composure Personable attitude with excellent communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 11.50-15.98 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 37.5 per week
