Job Title: Servery Assistant (Matchday Staff)

Home Ground - Phoenix Sports Club, Bexleyheath, DA7 6JT

Hours:

Sporadic / Matchday Only (approximately 4-5 hours per home game)

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and friendly individual to work within our servery during home football matches. This is a casual, matchday-based role, with hours dependent on the club's home fixture schedule. When matches are held at our home ground, the successful candidate will be required to work approximately 4-5 hours per game.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing and serving food and beverages to members, supporters, and guests Operating basic servery equipment safely and efficiently Handling cash and/or card payments accurately Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the servery area Assisting with setup before matches and clean-up after service Providing friendly and efficient customer service at all times Adhering to health and safety and food hygiene regulations
Working Hours

Hours are

sporadic

and dependent on home fixtures Work is only required when matches are played at the home ground Typical shifts last

4-5 hours per home game

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service is desirable but not essential Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and flexible Ability to work as part of a team
