Are you highly organised, proactive and motivated by making a difference?

Do you want to use your administrative skills to support vital services and partnerships?

If so, you could be the person we are looking for.

About the Service

The Access Community Mental Health Service is part of the innovative Mental Health and Wellbeing Partnership in Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire (BSW). We work with voluntary and statutory partners--including Alabare, Missing Link and Nilaari--to ensure people with mental health needs can access the right support at the right time in the community.

As part of our trauma-informed and culturally inclusive approach, we aim to reduce health inequalities and improve outcomes for individuals and families.

About You

As a Service Administrator, you'll be the backbone of a local multi-disciplinary team, helping the service run smoothly and efficiently. You'll support the Locality Manager and team by:

Managing diaries, arranging meetings, preparing agendas and taking accurate formal minutes.

Supporting internal and external communications and partner engagement.

Maintaining records, coordinating shared caseload meetings, and collating key data.

Ensuring compliance with governance and confidentiality requirements.

Handling referral information and updating electronic client records.

Supporting project work, event planning, and performance reporting.

You'll need to bring:

Proven experience in administrative roles, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.

Confidence working independently and liaising with a wide range of partners and colleagues.

Excellent communication skills, and a calm, sensitive approach to client-facing tasks.

A commitment to equality, diversity, and trauma-informed working.

We welcome applicants with lived experience of mental health challenges and those from underrepresented groups.

Second Step offers an excellent annual leave package, access to our Employee Assistance Programme, and a comprehensive induction programme with on-going development opportunities.

So...if you think this describes you, what are you waiting for?
