Join our team as a Service Advice & Support Officer
We're looking for a friendly, organised and customer-focused Service Advice & Support Officer to join our Bolton Care & Repair team. This is an important frontline support role, providing high-quality administrative and advice services that help customers access essential support such as Disabled Adaptations, Home Improvement Assistance and the Handyperson Service. You'll support customers as a key point of contact, delivering excellent service while ensuring records and processes are accurate.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a first point of contact, handling telephone enquiries and providing clear advice to customers.
Support the delivery of Care & Repair services through accurate administrative and financial processing.
Process grants, purchase orders and invoices in line with required procedures.
Maintain accurate records on IT systems to support service delivery and performance reporting.
Provide general administrative support and assist with maintaining asset and service records.
Promote Care & Repair services and support a customer-focused approach
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in an administrative or customer support role, including working with customers over the telephone.
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, sensitively and professionally.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and work to tight deadlines.
Good IT skills, with confidence using Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and OneDrive.
A solution-focused approach, with the ability to problem-solve and work creatively.
