Responsibility for a Service Advisor
As a Service Advisor, you'll play an essential role in the success of our service department. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Customer Liaison: Being the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a seamless service experience from start to finish.
Customer Satisfaction: Delivering exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs, providing accurate estimates, and keeping clients informed about the progress of their vehicle service.
Administrative Support: Maintaining accurate records of service appointments, repairs, and customer interactions.
Sales & Upselling: Identifying and recommending additional services or products where appropriate, enhancing the customer experience while achieving sales targets.
Team Collaboration: Working closely with the workshop and other departments to ensure services are completed on time and to the highest standard.
Requirements for a Service Advisor
To succeed in this role, you'll need the following qualities and experience:
Experience: Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role within the automotive industry is highly desirable.
Customer-Focused: Outstanding communication skills and a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Full UK Driving License: A clean driving record is essential for the role.
Passion for the Motor Trade: A genuine interest in the automotive industry, combined with a strong work ethic and dedication to delivering results.
Team Player: A collaborative attitude with the ability to work closely with colleagues in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Problem Solving: Ability to address customer concerns, resolve issues, and suggest suitable solutions quickly and efficiently.
