About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused

Service Advisor

to join our busy team. As the first point of contact for our aftersales customers, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional service experience, ensuring all customers receive a warm welcome, accurate information and a friendly & efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers professionally, identify their service and repair needs, and book vehicles into the workshop. Liaise between customers and the workshop team to ensure clear communication and smooth workflow. Provide accurate estimates, gain customer authorisation for any additional work, and keep them updated throughout the process. Raise job cards, invoices, and warranty paperwork in line with dealer and manufacturer standards. Ensure all customer interactions are recorded accurately on the dealer management system (DMS). Promote service plans, accessories, and aftersales products to enhance the customer experience. Handle customer queries and complaints in a professional and proactive manner. Support the Service Manager and workshop team in achieving departmental targets for productivity, profit, and customer satisfaction.

Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience as a

Service Advisor

in a franchised or independent motor dealership is preferred, but for the right person with transferable skills, full training and support will be given. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong administrative and organisational abilities with attention to detail. Ability to work calmly under pressure and to deadlines. A valid UK driving licence.
