We are looking for a friendly, organised, and customer-focused
Service/Parts Advisor
to join our team at Prosportscars. This key role bridges the gap between our customers and the workshop, ensuring every customer receives exceptional service from start to finish. You will manage bookings, handle parts inventory, and support the smooth running of the aftersales department.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email with professionalism and efficiency.
Handle
service bookings, appointment scheduling, and workshop coordination
, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Provide accurate estimates, explain repair details, and keep customers updated on the progress of their vehicles.
Manage
parts enquiries and sales
, ensuring the correct parts are ordered, received, and invoiced accurately.
Maintain accurate
stock control and inventory records
, including regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
Liaise with technicians and the aftersales team to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
Process
warranty claims
, invoices, and payments in line with company and manufacturer policies.
Promote additional services, parts, and accessories to maximise sales opportunities.
Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Work flexibly, including weekends and busy trading periods, to meet customer and business needs.
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience in a
Service Advisor
,
Parts Advisor
, or
Aftersales
role within the
automotive industry
(preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude.
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
Good understanding of vehicle servicing processes and parts operations.
Competence in
DMS (Dealer Management Systems)
and Microsoft Office applications.
Accuracy in handling cash, invoices, and stock records.
A full UK driving licence.
