If so, and you are an experienced Service Advisor and need a change, and definatly a challange we are looking for a talented, very special individaul to fill this position within our busy Service department.
This isn't just any old service advisiors position, this is a HallCraft Service Advisors position which is very different from the service advisors role you may be use to. We work on all makes, with a high percentage of FORD van, Land Rover & Jaguar customers using our services. You will be expected to know various manufacturers service regimes, and be confident in pricing, ordering and pre-picking parts for future bookings.
You will join a team of three and be one of the first points of contact which will set the first impression to our customers whether that be face to face or over the telephone
You should be organised and have a genuine passion to deliver customer satisfaction
The role will include:
Being present at the service reception desk during opening hours, ensuring that all customer queries - whether in person or on the telephone - are answered and dealt with immediately
Ensuring customers are aware of service & repair work required on their vehicles in a professional and consultative manner.
Managing the customer experience from the initial enquiry right through to work completion.
Being responsible for daily diary bookings
Providing advice on estimate costs for service & repairs at the enquiry stage.
Costing & selling additional work, appropriate to each customers' needs during their visit using our eVHC system without delay.
Advising on and managing timescales for vehicle collection, completion and delivery throughout the working day
Managing courtesy car, collection & delivery bookings
Preparing and presenting invoices following completion of work, ensuring all work has been carried out as detailed and charged for before obtaining payment in line with company procedures
You should be:
Smart in appearance, confident and well mannered.
Able to work in a team, have excellent communication skills.
Experienced enough to fully explain consistently and with integrity to customers the value of any additional work necessary.
Experience:
The Ideal candidate will have experience in a Service Advisor role at an independent, National chain or from within a Dealership environment.
Familier with and understanding electronic Vehilce Heath Checks (eVHC)
Full UK Driving Licence.
The ability to work in a fast paced environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to build a strong relationship with both customers and other members of staff.
Computer literacy is essential
Knowledge in using 1link, Partlinks and Gemini DMS would be beneficial but not essential, however learning to use all 3 will need to be a priority.
Systematic, highly organised with a keen eye for detail.
