As the first point of contact for our customers visiting for service or repair work across our
Ford, MG, and Van Centre workshops
, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience.
Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
Salary:
Dependent one experience (will be discussed at interview stage).
Hours:
Monday to Friday with a Saturday morning on a rota basis, i.e. 40-45 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcoming and assisting customers with professionalism and a friendly attitude.
Managing workshop diaries and keeping our customer database up to date.
Explaining repairs clearly and accurately recording vehicle faults.
Liaising with technicians to monitor job progress and ensure timely completions.
Authorising and processing payments for repairs.
Promoting additional services and supporting service department profitability.
Ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction in line with manufacturer standards.
Ideally, we are looking for:
Previous experience in customer service or administration (automotive industry experience is a bonus, not a must)
Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused
Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
Strong organisational and computer skills
Comfortable with written work and basic numeracy
A full clean driving licence
