Role Overview

We are seeking an organised and customer-focused Service Advisor with parts support responsibilities. Your primary objective will be to ensure a smooth, efficient service process for customers and to support the parts-side of the business to maintain availability, accuracy and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome customers, handle service appointment bookings and act as main point-of-contact for their vehicle's journey. Coordinate between service technicians, parts department and the customer to ensure timely and correct completion of work. Take ownership of parts identification, ordering, inventory control and status updates. Offer guidance to customers on recommended servicing, parts lead times and upgrade possibilities. Manage job scheduling, workshop throughput and workshop-system data entry. Monitor parts usage, maintain inventory accuracy and aid in parts-support operations. Provide high-quality customer communication both in person and via telephone/email.
Desired Skills & Experience

Prior experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive workshop or dealership. Knowledge or training in automotive parts ordering and stock control (desirable). Excellent customer-service skills and confident communicator. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment while maintaining accuracy. Good IT literacy including service-booking and parts-catalogue systems. Full UK driving licence preferred.
Salary & Benefits

Competitive salary 28000-32000 final salary to reflect experience and parts-responsibility). 28 days holiday entitlement including bank holidays. Monday to Friday working hours: 08:00-17:00 (no weekend work). Work within a supportive specialist environment with training and progression opportunities.
