Our Service Advisors are highly skilled and form an important part of our team at Boongate Kia.
We are a family owned and run business and have been in Peterborough for over 20 years with our franchise partner, Kia. With our continued success in both sales and aftersales we are a busy growing dealership and are looking for a service advisor to join our team. Key role and responsibilities
Taking new enquiries and generating Appointments.
Greeting customers to the business and understanding their requirements.
Provide constant communication and manage schedules between our customers and the workshop.
Advise and make recommendation to customers regarding electronic vehicle health checks (eVHC) that are carried out on every service vehicle.
Agree required repairs and associated costs suitable to the customer.
Prepare invoices, explain details of work carried out, the associated cost and take payment.
Return the customers vehicle to them, ensuring all their expectations are met.
Relevant experience and qualities required
Previous service advisor experience, ideally within a main dealer, preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of, booking processes, customer enquiries and invoicing
Experience in Dealer Management Systems, 1-Link and Motability
Parts ordering/sales experience would be advantageous
A smart and well-presented appearance is essential
Full driver's license

Development and training
You will be enrolled in the Kia Academy and given a development plan to achieve your full potential. Your development plan will give you the relevant training to enable you to excel in the role and to achieve and maintain our high standards.
Working hours
Monday to Friday 08.30 to 18:00 with 30 minutes for lunch.
One in three Saturdays 08.00 to 14:00
Salary negotiable depending on experience.

Pay: 26,000.00-32,000.00 per year
