Job Summary


We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive service team. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are understood and met efficiently. This role involves advising clients on vehicle repairs and maintenance, upselling additional services, and providing exceptional customer service to foster long-term relationships. The Service Advisor will also handle cash transactions accurately and maintain organised records of all interactions. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and a passion for delivering outstanding service.

Responsibilities



Greet customers warmly and professionally upon arrival, establishing a positive rapport. Listen carefully to customers' concerns regarding their vehicles and accurately record their needs. Advise customers on necessary repairs or maintenance, explaining technical details in an understandable manner. Upsell additional services or products that benefit the customer. Prepare detailed work orders and ensure all information is accurately documented. Coordinate with technicians to schedule repairs and communicate updates to customers throughout the process. Handle cash transactions, process payments securely, and issue receipts promptly. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including filing records and managing appointment schedules.

Requirements



Proven experience in customer service roles, preferably within the automotive industry or similar service sectors. Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with vehicle systems is highly desirable. Strong upselling skills with the ability to identify opportunities for additional services or products. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanour. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Organised with good time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively. A proactive attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 26,000.00-28,000.00 per year
