We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Service & Compliance Manager to oversee contractual compliance, health and safety, and training functions at Luton and Dunstable Hospital.

This pivotal role ensures that services are delivered in line with legal, statutory, and contractual obligations, while fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence.


As the Service & Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the contract operates within legal and statutory frameworks and meets all performance criteria. You will manage internal audits, compliance reporting, and service delivery monitoring, particularly within the Security service.

The role also involves coordinating health & safety initiatives, training programs, and supporting the development of business systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities


Monitor and report on statutory and legislative compliance across the contract Manage internal audits and support service departments in improving audit scores Oversee performance management systems and ensure accurate reporting Act as the first-line technical IT interface for service-related systems Compile and present monthly client and risk reports Champion health & safety initiatives and maintain the site Health & Safety Plan Coordinate training needs, audits, and staff development programs Participate in contract extension activities and build strong client relationships Lead and motivate staff, ensuring effective delegation and incident management

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications


Excellent report writing and communication skills IT skills with knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint Previous experience in scheduling/rostering Management experience at Site Supervisor or Site Manager level Experience in healthcare services (desirable) Compliance and Health & Safety auditing experience
