Due to continued growth we are looking for a Service Architect to join our Service Stratergy team on a permanent basis. As a Service Architect you will respond to opportunities by applying, promoting and presenting the complete Comms-care Service Portfolio, identify where the Comms-care portfolio has gaps and potentially qualifying out or recommend/drive bespoke services and support the creation of new Comms-care service offerings for Sales, Partner and End Customers.

Play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing strategic service solutions, collaborating closely with partners and clients to ensure seamless integration and delivery of cutting-edge IT services.


  • Opportunity Specific Service Alignment

    • Work with current and potential partners and their end-customers to intimately understand their annuity and packaged service requirements, influencing the same to drive increased customer value.

    • Drive the application of Comms-cares services portfolio through understanding and translating end-customer challenges and requirements to identify and articulate the best-of-breed solution.

    • Work with, and support, the wider Comms-care practices in constructing and pricing complex multi-service line and multi-outcome opportunities.

    • For each opportunity

      • Provide technical representation at both partner and end-customer pre-sales meetings, qualification calls, and high-level architectural planning sessions.

      • Act as the annuity-centric technical owner taking full ownership of the overall response, including managing technical inputs from Solutions Architects and SMEs.

      • Establish assumptions and risks to the service, manage these throughout the lifecycle of the Proposal/Statement of Work and transition process.

      • Provision the Statement of Work documentation based on Comms-care templates \xe2\x80\x93 to act as the contractual vehicle and handover record to the transition/delivery teams.

      • Ensure that the feasibility of the proposed service aligns with Comms-care\xe2\x80\x99s services capability and planned delivery potential.

  • Services and Solutions Development

    • Position self as a thought leader and drive the development and evolution of annuity-centric services and packaged professional service offerings.

    • Work with internal peers to ensure accurate mappings of technical disciplines to the services and solutions pillars, along with identifying skills gaps / opportunities.

    • Support with the definition and creation of annuity-centric document artefacts, including Service Descriptions, Datasheets and Schedules, Sales and Marketing collateral, and Commercial Models.

    • Support with the definition and creation of packaged Professional Services artefacts, including Service Descriptions, Datasheets and Schedules, Sales and Marketing collateral, and Commercial Models.

To be a successful Service Architect within Comms-care you should have experience and a passion for designing, planning, and implementing a service or system architecture that supports an end-customers goals and objectives with the following desirable experience and qualifications:

  • Two or more years in a similar Service Architect/Solution Manager type role.

  • ITIL Foundation or Managing Professional qualification.

  • A broad technical understanding of IT, including Networking, Compute and Public Cloud.

  • A strong understanding of Professional Services and annuity-centric services structure including Managed Services, Maintenance, and Support.

  • A strong understanding of technologies within our core solutions pillars including Modern Workforce, Modern Data Centre, Connected Networks and Secure Enterprise.

  • Understanding of financial principles and experience of commercial modelling activities.

  • Ability to understand a customer\xe2\x80\x99s environment to establish professional service and annuity-centric service requirements.

  • Good understanding of market trends and industry best practice for service delivery (ITIL).

  • Experience of complex contracts involving TUPE and the structuring of transitional and transformational approaches to contracts
