Service and Breakdown Engineer.

Locations: Multiple opportunities across East Anglia, working 40 hrs per week, Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities:



Maintain and repair heating systems across a range of fuel types, including domestic gas, oil, and solid fuel, for domestic and social housing properties. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including Gas Safe and OFTEC standards. Carry out reactive repairs, servicing of boilers, fires, and other appliances in line with manufacturer instructions and industry best practices. Issue safety certificates and keep accurate records using electronic or manual systems. Manage stock replenishment efficiently and liaise with approved suppliers. Participate in the on-call rota to provide 24/7 emergency cover across our property portfolio.

imum Essential Criteria:



Gas related qualifications - Domestic: ACS, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, MET1, HWSS1,CMDDA1, WREG Proven track record in a service or maintenance engineering role, particularly responding to breakdown scenarios. Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental regulations. A full UK driving licence is required.

Skills and Aptitudes:



Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure. Strong technical acumen with experience using a variety of diagnostic tools and software. Outstanding communication skills, able to interact effectively with stakeholders and customers
