Service Charge Accountant
to join our close-knit team.
The Role
You will play a key role in managing the financial health of our client accounts and service charge funds. Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for the accurate processing of invoices, reconciliation of client accounts and preparation of the year-end pack for outside auditors.
Key Responsibilities
Process supplier invoices and service charge receipts
Post transactions to appropriate ledgers
Perform bank reconciliations across client accounts
Prepare audit packs and liaise with external accountants for year-end service charge accounts
Respond to client and leaseholder queries regarding service charge statements
Assist with the integration of new management software
Work closely with property managers and other team members to ensure financial data is up to date and compliant
Person Specification
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
Prior service charge accounting experience is essential
AAT Level 1 or higher preferred
Strong financial and numeracy skills with high attention to detail
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year
