This is a fixed term contract running until 28th February 2027.

A bit about the role...




We're looking for a dedicated and driven Service Charge Officer to join our friendly, high-performing team. You'll take ownership of the full service charge cycle from budget setting to year-end statements ensuring transparency, accuracy, and excellent customer experience.

What you'll be doing




A snapshot of the key things you'll be responsible for:

Producing year-end statements for variable service charges Validating service charge actuals and ensuring compliance Creating annual budgets scheme-by-scheme using our management system Investigating variances and working with internal teams to explain and resolve discrepancies Managing accruals, prepayments, and month-end finance data Supporting residents with clear, transparent service charge communication Reviewing invoices, correcting mispostings, and ensuring cost recovery Collaborating across departments including Housing, Estates, and Development Setting up appropriate charges for new schemes and supporting audits Managing your own portfolio of schemes including regular visits and resident liaison
