Are you bursting with creativity, energy, and compassion? Are you an organised people-person who loves planning exciting activities and making a real impact in your community? Then we want you to be our next Day Service Coordinator at Thrive Hub -- where every day is a chance to bring joy, promote independence, and make lives better.
Your Mission (if you choose to accept it):
At Thrive Hub, we support adults with Autism, learning and physical disabilities to live their best lives. Your role? To create a vibrant, inclusive, and engaging day service where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and empowered. From activity planning to social media, from personal care to community connections -- you'll be the glue that holds it all together!
What You'll Be Doing (and loving!):
Plan and deliver exciting, inclusive activities based on each person's interests and needs -- from baking and crafting to outings, themed days, and more!
Create 3-month activity plans that are fun, therapeutic, and tailored to promote independence and wellbeing
Take and share photos of our daily fun on social media and in newsletters (you're basically our in-house reporter!)
Build strong, trusting relationships with attendees and their families, keeping communication open, warm, and effective
Connect with the community -- attending events, seeking partnerships, and raising the profile of our service
Manage Thrive Hub's social media and support the creation of monthly newsletters
Provide a little hands-on help where needed -- whether it's personal care, a hand with lunch, or support during medication
Help attendees access the right information, services, and support for their wider needs (e.g., benefits, housing, and health)
Get creative with fundraising and help make day trips and holidays a reality!
Keep our Thrive Hub scrapbook and notice boards fresh and fabulous!
And the All-Important Admin Side:
Keep all service user, staff, and family information safe and confidential
Ensure all activities and care meet the high standards of the Care Act 2014, CQC regulations, and our own service values
Maintain accurate records, incident reports, and daily logs (yes, paperwork matters!)
Help us improve by bringing fresh ideas, researching best practices, and implementing new systems (with Director approval)
Monitor health and safety and report accidents or concerns promptly
Attend staff meetings, training, and contribute to service development
Be flexible and willing to roll your sleeves up when needed -- we're a team!
What We're Looking For:
A kind, confident communicator with a positive, can-do attitude
Experience working in health or social care (day service/domiciliary experience is a bonus!)
Someone who is super organised and full of ideas
A great team player who's also happy to take the lead
Social media savvy and confident using tech
Creative, compassionate, and committed to making a difference
What You'll Get:
A fun and meaningful job where no two days are the same
A supportive team that values your input and ideas
Opportunities for training and progression
The chance to lead something special and change lives in your local community
A workplace that celebrates creativity, inclusion, and purpose
