Averaging 37.5 hours per week.



We are looking to recruit a Service Delivery Control Room Coordinator to join our control room team on M6toll.

The Service Delivery Coordinator oversees all aspects of Control Room duties on M6Toll Road. On each shift, supported by a team of assistants, you will enhance our customers' experience by providing a world-class remote service. You will also have full oversight of asset and infrastructure operations on the road and use various monitoring tools (CCTV, telephone, radio, Signs & signals) to monitor all 27 miles of M6toll.

You will have previous control room experience, preferably in a highway environment. When on shift, you will perform the necessary functions to log asset and network related information, dispatch on road resources to incidents and highway defects as well as coordinate the response to incidents and events on M6toll remotely from the control room.

The Service Delivery Coordinator is responsible for toll plaza throughput, lane availability, customer experience, and road user safety during each shift. You will do this by monitoring the plaza and network remotely using various CCTV, data tools, and a specialist toll operating system. Using this information, you will support making the necessary decisions and implementing any actions in order to minimize queueing time.

The Service Delivery Coordinator will have supervisory responsibility for the Service Delivery team during each shift; you will monitor remotely all departments within the organization as well as contractors maintaining the M6toll network.

You will become an expert operating MEL's specialist Toll Collection System as well as demonstrating competence in carrying out the duties on the Asset and infrastructure elements of control room operations.

You will require a decisive and calm nature, good working knowledge of PC's and excellent communication skills. You will be required to communicate and engage with customers; 3rd party stakeholders at all levels and internal resources working on M6toll.

You will support MEL's response to Incidents and events on M6toll from the control room.

The role will involve working with, overseeing, and supporting several roles across the organization and work sites.

You will therefore be reliable and flexible; with experience of working independently, as well as within a team. We require an individual with good problem-solving skills and leadership qualities to work as part of the Service Delivery team.

You will be required to work a mixture of regular early, lates, night, & day shifts, weekends and Bank Holidays, including Christmas Day. Shifts will be an average of 8 hours. You will be required to work a shift pattern, subject to change averaging 37.5hrs per week.

Pay: 39,749.67 per year
