About the role





The Services Delivery Manager is a key operational leadership role within Professional Services, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of Technical Services and Project Management delivery. This role ensures that all projects are executed efficiently, predictably, and to a high standard, providing a central point of accountability for operational delivery.



You will manage customer delivery across both Technical Services and Project Management, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards. In addition to operational oversight, the role provides hands-on leadership and support to Project Managers and technical delivery teams, enabling them to perform effectively and maintain consistent delivery excellence.




What you will be doing





Roles and responsibilities include:





Delivery Operations & Portfolio Management


Own the day-to-day running of Technical Services and Project Management delivery Manage delivery across a portfolio of concurrent customer projects Ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed scope, timelines, and budgets Act as a point of escalation for delivery issues Support accurate project forecasting and reporting

People Management & Team Enablement


Line-manage Project Managers and Technical delivery roles Provide coaching, 1:1s, and performance feedback Support capability development and onboarding Foster a supportive, high-performance culture

Cross-Functional Collaboration


Work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success Ensure smooth handovers and aligned delivery outcomes Promote strong communication across teams

Delivery Standards & Continuous Improvement


Embed consistent delivery standards and tools Improve efficiency through templates and repeatable processes Capture and apply delivery learnings



Who we are looking for





The successful candidate will demonstrate:




Delivery & SaaS Experience: You have hands-on experience managing customer or project delivery in a SaaS or technology environment, handling multiple concurrent projects with focus and clarity. People Leadership: You are an approachable, supportive leader with line management experience who motivates teams and delivers results under pressure. Project Delivery & Stakeholder Management: You bring strong project delivery fundamentals, a structured approach, and the confidence to manage diverse stakeholders effectively. Mindset & Values: Delivery-focused, pragmatic, and improvement-oriented, you strive to make things better while staying aligned with organisational values. Qualifications & Learning: Degree or equivalent in Business, Technology, or related field. Project Management or Agile certification desirable, with a commitment to continuous learning.
