We are currently seeking a motivated and well-organised Service Desk Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a key role, ensuring smooth communication between clients, engineers, and senior management, and keeping our service delivery efficient and professional.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for clients via phone, email, and occasionally in person.
Log, coordinate, and monitor service and maintenance requests using our management systems.
Raise quotations, working with our engineers and senior management to respond quickly and efficently.
Liaise with our engineering teams to prioritise and allocate work efficiently.
Track job progress and ensure timely updates and resolutions for clients.
Maintain accurate records of work orders, quotes, service history, and client communications.
Support the production of user-friendly documentation and job reports.
Deliver clear, professional communication to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Assist with basic scheduling, resource planning, and follow-up tasks as required.
What We're Looking For
Prior experience in a service coordination or customer service role, ideally within a technical or trade services environment.
Understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems; ability to interpret job descriptions and basic schematics is advantageous.
Familiarity with SIMPRO or similar service management software is highly desirable.
Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with a customer-first mindset.
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.
Calm and solution-focused under pressure.
