We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving and a commitment to safety and customer service. This role involves transporting goods while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently, including box trucks, dump trucks, and tractor-trailers. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo as needed, utilizing equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and deliveries made. Communicate effectively with and team members regarding schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Assist with route planning to optimize delivery efficiency. Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Previous experience as a service driver necessary. Familiarity with various vehicle types including heavy haul trucks, flatbeds, tankers, and paratransit vehicles is advantageous. Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance is a plus. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Experience in warehouse operations or freight handling is beneficial.
