About you

You will be a competent driver with at least 2 years commercial driving experience, with a good knowledge of the Wolverhampton region and surrounding areas. Your customer focused experience and expertise will underpin your ability to deliver this role fully. Good physical health is required as this can be a physically demanding role at times. Flexible in your approach to work, able to work reasonable overtime if required, and adhere to all health & safety practice.

Job Purpose

Nixon Hire, Toilet Division provides a variety of waste services, from small portable toilets to larger industrial projects, providing hygienic accessible, regularly serviced products. As a Service Driver you will be responsible for the delivery of rental assets including towable welfare units and toilets, servicing of chemical toilets and welfare units, and removal of waste from customer sites. You will also be responsible for assisting with the toilet servicing of assets within the depot as need arises. There may also be occasions that you are asked to step up and operate the larger accommodation vehicles. Service Driver's must ensure vehicles are in a safe working position prior to the emptying of toilets and ensure that they are emptied in a safe working manner. In line with all environmental and H&S regulations. You will manage all deliveries and associated paperwork on our bespoke software systems, all training on this is provided. All roles are designed in partnership with the company's values and strategic objectives.

Your Responsibilities (see job description attached)

Delivering toilets to customers, collecting toilets at the end of the hire. Carry out regular servicing and cleaning of the toilets, Support the plan given to delivery/collection/service routes to achieve optimum fuel consumption and most efficient use of driver time. Driving company vehicles in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner, including operating within the necessary transport regulations regarding driving hours, in line with company policies and legislation. Operating all lifting equipment in a safe manner and in accordance with all Company Safety Directives and method statements. Deliver all tasks in line with lean and 5's processes and methodology.
