About the Role

TSM Technical is recruiting on behalf of a leading UK manufacturer and service provider of

automatic pedestrian door systems

and aluminium shopfronts.

We are looking for

experienced Automatic Door Service Engineers based in South Manchester or North Cheshire

. This role is

not suitable for applicants outside these areas

.

You will work across

service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of automatic door systems

, with full product training and ongoing support.

Responsibilities

Carry out service, maintenance, and repairs on automatic door systems Respond to reactive call-outs, scheduled services, and planned maintenance Occasionally assist with installation projects Liaise with the office for scheduling and completing electronic paperwork/portals Deliver excellent customer service, working independently or as part of a team

Requirements

Must be

based in South Manchester or North Cheshire

Experience in servicing & maintaining automatic doors BS7036 / EN16005 certification (essential) Full UK driving licence Strong organisational & communication skills Flexible, enthusiastic, and team-oriented Willingness to undergo a disclosure/DBS check

Pay & Benefits

15 - 18.50 per hour (DOE) 40-hour working week Door-to-door travel paid On-call allowance: 270 Call-out hours at 1.5x standard rate Overtime: 1.5x Monday-Friday Weekend work: 1.5x pay Efficiency bonus (monthly, team-performance based) 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) Life assurance, enhanced sick pay, annual salary review Company van, tools, uniform, PPE, mobile & tablet provided Access to training & development, including NVQ support
